My name is C. Steven Tucker, President of Small Business Insurance Services, Inc. I have been a licensed multi-state "Independent” insurance broker since 1995. In 1999, I officially incorporated my business which provides affordable insurance products to the small business and self-employed market. This is one of the reasons I felt compelled to start posting information on this topic. I have read many blogs with so many postings and comments related to health insurance "horror" stories. These stories range from unpaid claims to denied life-saving medical treatments. Fortunately, I believe that these "horror" stories could have been avoided if consumers were educated about their health insurance benefits and coverage limitations at the time they purchased the policy. I believe my postings can help consumers make more educated choices before they purchase a health plan.
